Record broadcast-quality sound with less background noise straight to your DSLR/mirrorless camera with the Saramonic SmartMic5S, a mini shotgun microphone that connects directly to the 3.5 mm TRRS headphone jack of your smartphone/tablet or computer without the hassle of cabling. Ideal for vlogging, live streaming, and mobile video production, the SmartMic5S features a lightweight and durable housing, which offers 180° of adjustable positioning for optimal orientation to your sound source.

The condenser capsule delivers a tailored-for-speech frequency response of 75 Hz to 16 kHz, and utilizes a long interference tube in combination with a unidirectional condenser element to provide focused sound pickup with reduced ambience at greater distances than allowed by your device’s built-in mic. The integral shockmount isolates the mic from vibration and device handling noise.
