Leofoto LS-223CEX+RH-0 Carbon Fiber Tripod

Carbon fiber used in the LS-223CEX legs comes from the Japanese company Toray, one of the world’s leading producers of this material. The legs made of 10-layer carbon with a cross weave ensure maximum strength and stiffness while offering high weight parameters. The maximum load of the tripod is 5 kg. Its height is 317 mm and the minimum working height is 73mm. When fully folded, the tripod is 220 mm long.

The tripod uses innovative legs with an aluminum slanted core. Most of the tripod legs are simply a steel spike covered with rubber – this makes it heavy and unfortunately allows a lot of vibration in the plastic rubber. Leofoto’s designers have created the best tripod foot by using an internal aluminum frame that minimizes the amount of elastic rubber in the structure. Although this is a small detail, it increases the rigidity of the tripod. Leofoto rubber feet have polygonal bevels to help keep the tripod on uneven ground.

The set with the tripod includes the RH-0 panoramic clamp with an NP-50 quick coupling. Equipped with an engraved scale, it is useful for panoramic photos and can, together with the hemisphere, replace the standard ball head to a limited extent.
